Bio-efficacy of Sulfentrazone 39.6% SC against Weed Flora of Soybean

چکیده
Inadequate weed control is one of the primary causes a decrease in soybean production. Weeds compete for resources with crops (water, light and nutrients). This competition especially important during early stages crop development, when production losses up to 80 per cent are possible, extreme cases, harvest operations hampered. As result, current study sought identify an effective practice soybean. To assess bio-efficacy Sulfentrazone 39.6% SC as post-emergent (PRE) herbicide soybean. The experiment was laid RCBD (Randomized complete Block Design). A field conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Bidar, University Sciences, Raichur, Karnataka, India kharif seasons 2019 2020. consisted seven treatments three levels PRE (240, 360, 480 g a.i ha-1), two check herbicides (Authority XL @ 360 a.i. ha-1 Pendimethalin 1 kg ha-1as PRE), hand weeding twice 20 40 days after sowing, weedy replicated times. Application sulfentrazone 39.6%SC premergent significantly reduced density dry biomass critical period crop-weed competition. application resulted higher efficiency (WCE), yield, economics soybean, which comparable application. Hence, pre emergent advocated farmers weeds.

Sulfentrazone has excellent soil activity on many small-seeded broadleaf weeds, however, soybean injury in "eld experiments has been noted under certain environmental conditions. Injury levels in these "eld experiments have appeared to di!er in severity among soybean cultivars. Growth chamber studies were initiated with the objective of examining the suspected di!erences in tolerance among soyb...
متن کاملQuantitative Analysis of Weed Flora of Podravina Region (north Croatia)
The share of single species was expressed for the weed flora in the Podravina region, North Croatia. The analysis was based on standard phytosociological records according to Braun-Blanquet. Different types of crops were included, both row crops (maize, sugar beet, potato, vine, sunflower) and dense cereals such as wheat and barley. An analysis of 552 records was made, to find quantitative rela...
متن کاملToxic Weed Seed Contaminants in Soybean Processing
Soybeans are subject to potential contamination from toxic weed seeds during harvest, transportation and storage. The more common foreign seeds include those from jimsonweed, cocklebur, nightshade, cowcockle, corncockle, morning glory, castor, pokeweed, and crotalaria. This review addresses itself to the chemistry and toxic principles of these contaminants. Since jimsonweed seeds are probably t...

Comparison of Glufosinate-Based Herbicide Programs for Broad-Spectrum Weed Control in Glufosinate-Resistant Soybean
Because of the increasing number of glyphosate-resistant weeds, alternate herbicide-resistant crops and herbicides with different modes of action are required to protect crop yield. Glufosinate is a broad-spectrum POST herbicide for weed control in glufosinate-resistant crops, including soybean. The objective of this study was to compare herbicide programs with glufosinate applied singly at lat...
